Bob Crane was a famous American actor with a jovial, neighbourly face. For an entire generation, he embodied the do-gooder yet somewhat womanizing persona of Col. Robert Hogan on TV's popular sitcom "Hogan's Heroes"
However, as the sun rose on the sleepy town of Scottsdale, Arizona, on June 29th, 1978, and a grisly, real-life scene unfolded: crumpled on the floor lay the body of beloved actor Bob Crane. At just 49 years-old, Bob had met his fate by foul play. As the truth of just who exactly Bob was revealed, the possible explanations for his death multiplied.
